Logo Animation

My first project at the Oliver Agency was animating the logo for our new client, Malta Tourism.

Make it stand out.

My task was to leverage Malta's beautiful photography to create eye-catching visuals. The goal was to use these powerful images to attract interest and inspire people to choose Malta for their next holiday.


Guest Mode

The Malta Tourism Authority recognized a critical need: their brand identity lacked distinctiveness. In a sea of similar European holiday destinations, they struggled to capture the attention of potential tourists. The logo, in particular, needed a complete refresh.

The Winning Formula

I partnered with Creative Director Anthony Slevin to tackle the logo challenge head-on. Through rigorous exploration and numerous iterations, we honed a design that truly represented Malta's unique character.

 This new logo became the foundation for a comprehensive rebranding initiative. Collaborating with Senior Designer Jose Cancela, we also developed a comprehensive set of brand guidelines to ensure consistency and impact across all platforms. These guidelines encompassed everything from typography and colour palettes to imagery style and brand voice, providing a clear roadmap for all future creative executions. I focused on creating a visual language that was both modern and timeless, highlighting the island nation's rich history, natural beauty, and warm hospitality.

My work included designing signage, print and digital advertisements, and large-scale out-of-home (OOH) billboards that were deployed across Europe, America, Asia, and Russia. As the Lead digital designer, I then led the charge on the digital front, ensuring the brand's online presence was not only visually stunning but also strategically aligned with the overall campaign goals.

 The result was a significant increase in brand recognition and a boost in tourism, proving the power of strategic design to drive real-world impact.
